I know you can get the primary color kit at dick blicks for like 30 bucks, but its not my favorite medium...I honestly dont like much other than like pencil, I like markers too, but I'm not terribly good at them (not lots of practice, if any with them).

^^ The problem with guache is that you get what you pay for. The more expensive it is, the more refined it is, and the truer the pigments are.

And people.. STOP FINGER SMUDGING! Sheezus... gonna kill me with all the finger smudging talk... Fingers have oils in them that you do NOT want on your art! If you MUST use your finger, cover it with some paper... invest in the blending stumps.. your work will improve by leaps and bounds.

I'm working on a doodle right now so I can show y'all my handiwork...

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

man, if i had an evo i would buy that pic you drew, i think it looked more dynamic by itself w/ no background. i used to draw and instead of finger smudging if your lazy and dont feel like going anywhere, get some paper and twist it into a fine point then bend a peice of the end to then use it to manipulate the shading. if you want to do one of my accord with an added lip id buy it if you are like 30 mins away or less. props to you tho cars are one of the hardest things to draw +1

thanks everyone, and trd, sorry man, I had started drawing your car and got a mental block or something... I'm going to try again in a couple days. And JDM-95-Hatch, PM me some pics and I'll see what I can do. I have to work the rest of the week so my progress will be slowed down a bit I did finish a kick ass NSX drawing though

I hate that my camera picks up the reflection of the lead. in person it has so much more contrast then this

I figured Id post up the progress shots. just to see if any of you were interested in seeing how it all comes together. the guy who im doing this for wanted a split page with the front of the car up top and a back view on bottom. anyway, heres what I got. constructive criticism welcome

I charge 100 bucks. the price will go up with demand of course but seeing the demand is low, well I'm keeping it cheap. as for how long... id say two weeks safely. I have the current one I'm working on and two others. in addition to a full time job as a tech (freaking exhausting).

    Awesome work!

+1 and I may just get in line for one too. Will wait until my car is fixed so I can get the perfect picture to use.

Beautiful work. The only thing I can draw successfully is old Beetles and Mk2 Jettas. lol
