    Talking painted the slips tonight...

    i got tired of the gold wheels... soo my roommate chad and i painted them.
    comments welcome. love em or hate em.
    let the flaming begin.

















    EDIT: i realize now that they look purplish in the pictures, they're blue...

    thanks man, i used Dupli-Color T257 Medium Blue. I got it from wal-mart in the automotive section. i put a very light coat of rustoleum lacquer to finish the job.

    I like the gold better. It's old, but tried and true. The blue looks a bit tacky.

    Its ugly because its not your usual black or gold finish. Lets the flamers flame but way to stand out from the crowd. +1 for a clean ride.

    i tend to paint my wheels when i get really bored... they've been gunmetal, black, gold, and now blue... i'm running out of options!

    It doesn't look bad, but with my experience from painting wheels, they're much harder to clean. And did you happen to paint the inside of the wheels too? Looks great.
