Nice!
That's amazing...
a detail job like that is worth every penny
nice! I remember seeing something on another guy who only used distilled water to wash cars
That Veyron is 1 of the 2 colors I like

Did it say how much it cost, i saw some figures in the thread none looked accurate.
i remeber seeing on tv on discorvery channel i think.. the show called rides and some guy would wash super cars, $7000 per car wash..
damn!
i coulda done that ish
They did a great job on the detail.
I read the car has about 30k miles on it already. I'm glad it gets driven. Most people buy cars like this just to look at 'em.
damn, id be to scared to wet sand that car. I would of told the owner to get it repainted, lol. Or I would of just heated that spot up used med-high compond to get the scratch out. But he did a great job. Hopfully after a few washes the spot he wet sand doesnt show back up. That full detail probably cost the owner a little over a grand.
I'm really thinking that it costed substantially more for some reasonOriginally Posted by Chuckster

i'd shit myself if i drove one of those. or even touched it.
Im thinking probably 5-7 grand for that job.
Yeah ive seen a detail job done like that on a Enzo, and i think it was $5000.00
repost....
yeah yeah...maybe not on here but I have seen this before...about 5 days ago....
god damn that car deserves a cleaning like that. but how long do you think it will stay like that?

Thats impressive. Makes me want to buy a Porter Cable. That Zymol Royale wax is insane, 7000UK lbs for a tub but free refills for life.

What I meant was, whoever owns one of those damn things wouldn't have a problem paying for a detail job like that. Those cars are hand made, special order. I'm sure any owner of a Veyron or Enzo wouldn't have a problem paying a few grand for a detail job like that after dropping a fortune on their [smeagol] "precious" [/smeagol].

i've been comtemplating getting into it: high end only w/ the same tape jobs and all. I have the patience and it will certainly get you into shape with quite a bit of change in the pocket. Plus give you a chance to meet the owners and drive some of the nicest exotics in the world...that does wonders for the photography business tooIt take me 8 hours just to do my INTEGRA inside and out and that's not even using clay bar, haha.

I know a guy in Memphis that I would put up against him. According to the Memphis detailer, the Bugatti dude is pretty good, but most of his "expertise" and badassery is just flashy products. I have seen many different threads in which he detailed cars to mint condition for much cheaper and less ego to deal with.

I have no doubts your friend in Memphis is pretty good but regradless of the products the guy in the UK is an awesome detailer and even better buisness man. Having such a large number of customers willing to pay huge amounts for a detail is awesome.Originally Posted by nreggie454
I definitely understand that no matter how much money you spend on your equipment, you still need a lot of skill to detail at that caliber. I also give huge props to the dude because he has done a lot of things right to only deal with the best of cars and get paid well for it. He just seems a bit full of himself whenever he is on camera, and there's no need for that.Originally Posted by keevo54
