nice ass work on the valve cover....

in regards to the flames....i watched mike lavallee do them on tv and he uses darker colors on the first coats and uses the lighter colors on the later coats. and i think the "sides" of the flames are too defined but real real good job for a first attempt. I know you like criticism so there it is from me

everything i found on Mike Lavallee was instructional dvd's that you got to buy....no clips or anything...maybe im just not that good on looking up things on the net tho.

sorry dude....apparently they have full kits that you can buy tho....comes with a few stencils and some other ones came with paint as well

What kind of setup you using man? I have A Paasche VL-S dual action (hard as shit to learn on) and I am still trying to get used to the airbrush lol. Your way more advanced than I am.

Need to do the valve cover in the same airbrush as that cover. And Emily thinks you should add some blue into the flames, but it still looks good. I will show you how to do good flames when I get home, then you can take the credit like always. LOL.

pratice. and be slow while learning. i take plenty of time when i work. never let your air stop flowing. and try not to let the trigger all the way back foward when you stop spraying that way your not waiting for the paint to come back on to do your next line. just barely let it stop flowing. (that is how i make my biggest mistakes)

and yes i did it and will do it for others.
