Base my ass thats a type s from simple things such as a 6 speed tranny, the type s Bose sound system (got that from the tape deck), the rims, and of course the engine itself
ohh and the simple fact that on the base (if you are looking straight at the engine) the O2 sensor on the intake is right next to the engine...on the type S it is right next to the battery on the other side of the intake tube which means the wiring for the type s O2 sensor is longer

i hit imaginary Vtec as often as possible...I dont even feel it. Now today i felt Vtec on my friends 06 TL (Dynomax resonator, mid muffler delete, AEM cai, 6 speed manual) thing sounds so good...Ive been wanting to try the mid muffler delete on the RSX but no one has done it so I dunno how it would sound
ok so I have had my car since late summer 04 (it is an 05) and I have dogged on my car since day one hitting redline on the way home with 6 miles on the car ( i was young and stupid). I have now 58k almost 59k miles on it. Do you think its time to replace internals and such and fix the tranny. I ask this because right before my 50K warranty was up i got a check engine light and then it went away but it comes on every other month and then goes away. (something about my rocker arm).
Anyone know if its time and can quote me a mild engine build and tranny re-build.
