I like that lip. It looks like what people did before all these kids got spoiled by the aftermarket...you know...back in the day before you could type in the name of something you wanted and 88 companies popped up offering it.
Nice job bro.
Pssssssft!!!! Zoom Zoom BOOM!!!!
personally, i think its sitting toooo far back and it needs to have a slope toward the front of the car.
So how many people here know what a splitter actually does and why?

'96 first year of the 4.0 and he had problems with it running...i told him the possibilities it could be, replaced a couple sensors and after a few months i finally figured it out. I asked him about what gas he puts in it....regular only since he got it, what a fukin retardOriginally Posted by santacruz77

The first thing he did was pull off the brushguard, said he didn't like the chrome on it....lolol, it's a freakin polished stainless steel guard with $500+ in Hella lights on the front!! I bought it as a one owner and he spent $7,000 on all the accessories in '99 then i bought it for $12k in like '01, lol.

the advantage to the home depot lips are really found at the track. They do give that aerodynamic benefit of keeping air out from under your car, but by the same token, if/when you hit something or run off the road, it rips off (if ratcheted), and takes the impact rather than your bumper. And while a $50 lip might not be too expensive, they screw in... which means every time a road racer/autoxer/drifter runs over a cone or runs off the road (which happens to even the best of them), not only is that a $50 lip gone down the hole, but it's also damage on the front bumper. And, as is evidenced by Jason's... when done right, they can look good. But to each his own. I've seen a ton of HD lips, and I'm impartial either way. It's like le Mans cars having huge wings... function over fashion.
Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

With a dab of black paint on each screw/rivet you'd never know it was there. How many of you are actually taking the time to fabricate something or just waiting for the next nopi product to hit the internet?
Uh, I have a 3rd gen Prelude.
I have to custom make just about EVERYTHING.
ya yall are saying its gay but i didnt just go out and buy what every one has, yall should go to a scca race i guess everyone there is a gay ricer prolly
What you talking about, racing at the track is rice...big group of people gathering together and driving fast, listening to their loud ass cars screaming down the straight, they put tires & wheels on that are too wide for the car, then throw the wings on. The smell of high octane fuel and burning rubber is rice. Directly afterwards the beer gets cracked open and the crazy stories from people doing this very same thing decade after decade gets told around the grill over hamburgers, hotdogs, & steaks...then for some with the serious rice problems have to stay up all night laying on a sheet of cardboard making repairs to their rice mobiles so they can be ready for the early morning 8am rice call to do it all over again.Originally Posted by santacruz77
^haha nice yes road racing must be rice i guess

Just to join the club...
I think it works a little better on a squared off Bimmer than it does on some others, but none of the ones I've seen on this thread look bad at all. Simon, love the look of yours. Santacruz, yours looks cool with the fogs too.
And since when does the amount of money you throw at your car count for anything? I'm sorry, but I don't need a Japanese car that runs a 10 second quarter mile to make up for my insecurities. I drive my beat up, stripped out little BMW because it's fun as hell. I don't use it to impress other people. I drive it because I enjoy it. If you enjoy driving your car with your $300 front lip, that's all well and good, but that doesn't give you a right to bash anybody that would rather do it on a budget. Well, I guess you have a right to, but you look like a dumbass when you do. Some of us are a little more grassroots and a little less Nopi, and we'd prefer to do things differently. How bout grow up a bit.![]()

APR stickers are cheap... so are pep boys mufflers and autozone auxillary exterior lighting... cheap $ does not mean it is ok. Would be better without it and that would have been CHEAPER!Originally Posted by santacruz77
