dude
props
id like to shake your hand someday....
i dont know how to give more than +1 but i dont think it matters.....theres other people for that
Paint is cheap compared to the time spent & labor of prepping everything if you were to pay someone else to do it. Bodywork is just as important at the spray job itself.Quote:

NO but the removal of the heater core and doing a heat bypas would be a good hint. Most people DON'T bother with that.Quote:

You guys are awesome with the props
Well, the car is going to be far from a daily driver. It's being built for speed but mostly so to enjoy on my days off when I want to rip around town. I plan to track the car in both drag and auto-x for strictly pleasure.....
Since the car is being built for speed I am removing as much as possible. I will be removing all the unused wires from the wire harness and of course I will have pics of the entire process. This is something that will most likely take place close to winter.....
As far as the hose being close to the header. I'm going to take a look tomorrow and if it's close I may shorten the loop :goodjob:
So, my baby is back home again :idb:  :bump:
Pics coming & here's what I worked on last night:
Man, the Hasport PDF installation is a waste of space/time and the pictures are about equal to a 1st grader drawing
Basically stuck with a bag of bolts and hardware
I'm putting the pieces of the puzzel together between the HASport instructions and Poison's K20 how-to swap....
Here are the bolts with each labeled with their size:

The nuts and washers:
http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o..._6209_rs35.jpg
With the help from K20a.org I was able to figure out most of the bolts, so I deleted the questions.
More to come & thanks for looking :police:
Here is the tranny mount installed. Most likely going to leave the 2 OEM studs for now. Probably go back after the show and remove them to install the 2 HASport bolts for a cleaner look:
HASport supplied a spacer for the tranny mount, but looks like they have added it to the mount now. So, the spacer is not needed:

TEH SEX
Hey I got a quick question. How much did you pay for the full paint job?
MORE PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not much. The materials is what cost me. My bro painted the car, so you know I got hooked up on that :yes:Quote:

So, I present Session 043 (Fridays work). It's been a while since I have posted a session, but to get her done it's going to take many long sessions. Well, let's get to it......
I started the day off by taking pics of this bad mo-fo I scooped from a K20a.org member :goodjob:

After taking pics I decided to unwrap some of the cabin harness since I won't need most of the wires and they will eventually get deleted:

Cut the tie wrap:

Got tired of fooling with the wiring, so I jumped to the seat. The hardware store only had enough for one seat, so one seat was completed. Man, it was a b!tch. Took me at least an hour to put together. $hit has to be lined perfectly or got to loosen the bolts and adjust
Start with a seat bracket and rails mounted:

After 3 adjustments ended up with this:

Then I test fitted the rest of the header while waiting on Pop's to arrive:
