first off , give that mofo a good bath and detail , you need to be a lil more specific with what you want to do , boost/na , looks , jdm , also how is your budget for this car , you also need to give better pics of the outside so everyone can see what your workin with!

I would say a good start would be to lower it and maybe some wheels. Dont cheap out on suspension either. I think somebody is selling some Rota Slips in the for sale section, a little over done but will definately look good.
go to a book store, gas station, head to the magazine aisle, pic up an SCC dsport or even super street (only if you have to) and figure out what you like. Then when you have a question on which wheels/front bumper, etc..... come on here and ask and we will give our opinions (not that they mean much).

If I had a Civic, I would do the following.
Engine
-B16 Swap
-Catback Exhaust
-Cheap header
-Drill a few holes in the stock airbox, with the holes facing away from the engine.
Suspension/Brakes
-Coilovers
-Rear Sway Bar
-Front Strut Bar
-Performance Brake pads
-Slotted rotors
-If it has rear drums, convert it to rotor
Interior
-94+ Integra Leather seats
-New shift boot
-Decent ball shaped shift knob
-Decent stereo setup
Exterior
-Decent front lip
-Sylvania Headlight bulbs
-clean good paint
-Rota Slipstreams
-Good tires

dont worry about the bashing, you have got an easy car to moddify bodykits are hard to pull off so i dont recomend any thing along that line, first lower it, intake, exhaust, wheels then by the time your that far you'll understand what looks good and what is rice.
But then itll be like everyother civic.....

dont pay attention to all the guys busting ur balls its just part of the initiation process... so far i think the best idea is the one about looking on hoda-tech site...
but just some ideas of what I would do if it was mine...
first of like someone said detail the shit out of it nothing worse than a dirty ass car... before u go spending money on performance stuff u really need to do some reading on what route u would prefer to take. Turbo? N/A? SC? Show? its all a matter of preference but they all have there pro's and con's..
me personnally i would (depending on the money) would drop it , put a lip on it tint the windows, some wheels. then save up buy a gsr or an H22 motor and build it nad boost it.. in that exact order. then after wards worry about exhaust and maybe some cosmetics...
either way good luck on what ever u decide let us know if u need any more help .
but be prepared for the asshole comments just dont take them to heart most people on here just like to give people a hard time
