    Default 2001 Accord VTEC Engine *Head Gasket Cracked*

    2001 F23A1 (Commly found is 98-02Accord EX Coupes)
    53,000miles

    Overheated due to a faulty thermostat, ownercracked the head gasket while idling.

    Super Easy repair.

    Motor is still in it's infancy stage.

    $250 OBO

    Available for pick up in Conyers

    Engine was swapped into a 95 Accord.

    Old thermostat was most likely reused<<<that was the issue.

    It was swapped in with 27,XXX

    I only deal with low milage engines, Since then it was driven to NY and back around GA.

    I really don't have to sell the integrity of the engine you all know how strong these are.

    Guy I sold the car to was in his car with some chick with the AC pumping not paying attn. to the instument cluster while the temp level rose.

    the rest is history....i could easily get it fixed but i have no shell for it

    That would be the popular choice 1990-2002 models and some preludes.

    They would swap into civics with a mount kit but that's what the H series engine is for.

    Intake Manifold, Power Steering Bracket and AC bracket distributer all off of your sis's engine.
