the dvd and tv go together sorry. there is a cable that goes from dvd to tv. easy plug and play. the dvd is also easy to wire. i think it is only hot,memory, and ground wire. i could also wire it to a cigarette lighter if you wanted.
if you want to use it with a cd player and dont have one i may let mine go. its a pioneer with aux input adapter, the adapter alone was 50 bucks.

how does the monitor connect to the dvd player. is the input to the monitor a rca or svideo type. i have an extra x box i wanna put in the truck. also is that pic of the dvd in a chevy my center console looks just like it in my 02 avalanche. can we get some pics of the back of the dvd player?
it is a svideo type not sur if it is svideo. it is in a 2001 suburban at the moment. i can get pics but i have to take it out to do so. it is currently hooked up and i was going to leave it to show it will play. but if you are serious ill go ahead and unhook it.
if you want details of hook ups i may be able to see behind the console with a mirror and let you know. if i remember right it has a video out rca, a svideo style plug fo the tv, and the required pwr wires.
