Pretty sure if you get a Valve Adjustment then it might be Ok... Have you been Over Revving the Motor?!

no the timing belt broke.
so i bought a zc dohc for it.
i pull the d16a6 today and will install all my new parts
on the zc tomorrow.
will get the zc ready to put in tomorrow......

what kind of mileage? did it burn any oil?

180,000 miles, used no oil.
didnt smoke,ran strong.
i would keep it and get the head fixed,but
im selling to off set some of my expences.

i also have a b18a engine ,trans,ecu,shift linkage,etc.
and a 90 crx si runs great.
