True and this engine is clean all over. Was going to swap it into my hatch, but dont have the time and money to put inn. It runs good and have video of it running. It includes everything I mean everything. Just look at other sites how much for the block + shipping runs you around what 650-700. Im selling everything you need to make it just drop in and goooooooooooooo for 850.

what year is your hatch? if its 92-93 its already wired for vtec from the shock tower. and you can use your mounts from your hatch to drop it in, so its not a big deal.

motor is solid for boost if you use some ARP headbolts and better rod bearings because the D16Yx's spun bearing.

so wire it for vtec. get the wiring guide, find someone who can solder. then you got vtec. no money paid. but if you want boost, vtec is not so great.

True, but finding someone reliable to do it is hard to find.

dude, soldering isnt hard. its easy as pie.... just make sure you heatshrink everything after its soldered. im sure you can find a FSM online, or even a wiring guide. i mean, my SOHC>DOHC SR20DET swap was easy enough with HT's swap guide. the only thing they messed up on was the wiring for the Q45 ignitor. that didn't take long to figure out though. once i figured that out, it ran ok. you just have to have the time and be patient enough.

bump for D-series! but um it's REALLY easy to do the swap in your hatch. go to h-t site and do a simple search on the wiring, if any, and do the single cam swap....DON'T SELL!!!! But if you're hell bent on selling you WILL(trust me) lower the price if you want to sell it. I/ve sold and bought a few, so I know, but keep it!!

get a obd1 vtec harness and plug it to the motor and you have the wiring done. oh, you need a ecu too. or you can take the 2 vtec wire from the y8 harness and adapt it to yours.
