    Default Kenwood receiver/cd changer issues

ok i have a kenwood 5028 cd/mp3/wma receiver and i just recently bought a kenwood cd changer off of ebay (used and kind of old). so yesterday i went to hook it up, there is a port to plug in the plug, i plugged it in to the receiver and plugged up the cd changer. everything is seeming to work right..i switch over to the cd changer...it reads "DISC CH" like it recognizes it, then it reads "AUX EXT", then nothing. does anyone have a remedy for this problem??

    thanks in advance

    dumb question..

but did you make sure they are compatable?

and try to reset it, and double check your wiring.
