i like the sound of components, my friend used to have infinity coaxial speakers in his doors and they sounded good, then he upped to the infinity component set and it was amazing. i can't really explain why, maybe it was the feeling of the music coming from higher up, but it sounded goooood.

if you just want some sound from a set of speakers then coax will be fine for you. If you want to have a decent stage and imaging then you have to use components.
