spl box or vt

Who here can build boxes for spl use?

if you know what size and tuning you want I can build you one. If you needall the testing and such done itsmuch more complicated.

12inch and i guess 40 or 50hz. What would you reccomend?

you should try to find a shop or a person that has some rep with this and some spl trophy's. this doesnt mean baginjimmy cant do good work for all ytou and i know he could be real good at it. give it a shot see how it goes

heres a few things to take into consideration before you start:
your cars resonant frequency - the frequency your car peaks at using a tone and a sealed box

available space - how large of a box can you fit

sub - this will determine box requirements ie: net volume, port area

amp/s - a sub becomes more efficient in a larger box, so the more power you add to a sub, the smaller the box will have to be.

Sina, I have very little experience building one note wonder boxes, but its basicly the same as any other box with ALOT more planning and modeling involved. Then of course, the 8-10 boxes used for testing.
