Default Who's still into the audio scene? Post up equipment lists, pics, and videos!

This section has been beyond dead lately, trying to get a little more action out of it. Pretty much wondering who here is still into the audio scene, and what are you running? Big, small, walls, 4th orders, etc anything!

    My current equipment list:
-Jensen VM9311TS (I know, I know... only reason it's still there is for my kids to watch movies)
-Boston Acoustics components in all 4 doors and stock tweet locations
    -Kenwood KAC6485 on mids/highs
    -Sundown Audio SA15D2 in 3.25 ft^3 net at 35hz
    -Audiopipe AP15001D @ 1 ohm (Ordering a RF BD15001BDCP next week)
    -Stinger volt meter
    -2 SVR AGM batteries
-All KnuKonceptz 1/0 wiring (2 runs of B+ and 2 runs of - front to back)
    -2/0 on the Big 3
    -KnuKonceptz RCA's
-Stinger 14awg from the mids/highs amp to crossovers then to doors and dash tweets
    -AudioControl Matrix
-EVERY inch of the truck lined with SecondSkin as well as extra bracing on the roof

    Pics:

Box PRE Seat lift (doing a 2" seat lift and cutting mounts right now, box will be 100% under the seat.

I'll get some vids up tomorrow.

Let's see what you all got!

I'm jealous of your stock head unit no lie. Looks good, I'd like to hear it in person.

I built a box a couple weeks back for a dB Drive Platnum 10", good stuff.

It hits pretty freaking hard for one 10" sub, I just put it in this weekend and I am already ready to upgrade to the K9 sub.

The Denali has the factory BOSE system which sounds pretty good stock, if I get the K9 the K5 will go in there.....it's a mobile video whore as of now.....

yeah the SA10 was around $150, I got a friend who can get me the hook up on db stuff. Is it just me or are they way under rated? The SA10 is only 600rms, my K5 is 750 rms......although the SA10 is supposed to compare to the K9 which is 1000rms.

I still like the W7's, just too pricey for me with the other stuff that's out there. Nice looking setup though, Dynamic do the box for you?

Bump! I know theres more than 3 of us.

I'm jealous of the SQ of that just by looking at the list haha. I've been wanting to build a SQ setup, just never got around to it. I'm fixing to pull my SA15 in favor of 2 DC XL 15's and a DC 3.5K and pull the back seat. After that I'll probably start on a SQ build for my wifes ride.

I haven't updated my list in a while. Changed the HU to an older Eclipse with 8v preouts... exact model # I can't remember and don't feel like walking out to check, amp to a AQ2200D, and added a MeanGreen 240 amp alt, as well as painted the box. Right now it's all sitting in my bed room floor as I'm selling the truck though.

Clamps out above rated power, doesn't sound bad... not as good as a more high end amp but not bad. Overall it's not bad, I got it stupid cheap is the only reason I bought it.

Great looking setups! I've always liked the ARC Audio stuff, and the HAT stuff always sounds great. My next build will be a SQ build I do believe. Looking into Hertz/Audison for a front stage, Image Dynamics IDQ's for the subs.

I'm still into the audio frame of mind. I can't have a car with a stock sound system.
OK after owning my S for a little more than 3 years,I figured it was time to upgrade the sound. Well it is complete, and here is a run down of all items installed.

    Alpine CDA-9883 Headunit
    Delphi XM Roady
    Modifry DCI
    30 Gig Ipod Classic
    Alpine Type-S 6.5 Component
    Alpine Type-S 6x9
Rockford Fosgate Prime 300.4 Amp (2)
    Kicker Comp 4 8" Subs (2)
    Darkside V1 Sub Enclosures
    KnuKoncepts RCA Cables
    KnuKoncepts Power/Ground Dist. Blocks
    Memphis Power/Ground/Speaker Wire

Here is how it all started, and yes it all fit.

Thanks to Darkside Subs for getting me the boxes as fast as he did.

Quick shot of the XM Roady and Alpine HU

Of course we all know that a sound system is only as strong as the weakest link, so I have the
    Alpine holding strong

And the final finished product. Amps, subs, and 6x9s installed.

Thanks for looking, comments and feedback always welcome.

More to come when the alternator and Toolmaker dual inputs come in. Should be playing within the next 1.5 weeks. Wiring is all a mess, and the current amp rack is temporary. All will be cleaned up once it's tested and playing, and a new amp rack will be built when I decide if I'm satisfied with this box or not. Was torn between 2 designs and chose to try this one first. Once I get satisfied I'll rebuild the amp rack then the amp + box will be Line-X'd.
