    Default friendly competition...Need help

My roommate and I treat everything like a competiton. So he has an old school buick with two 10s (300rms each), two 6x9s in the rear deck and two tweeters up front and all this is power with one amp (i think a two channel). in order to compete, I got a t3 ts(600rms) with a 800 watt 2-channel amp and i already had compenent speakers up front and some nice 6.5s in the rear deck but those lost power when the subwoofer got added. I got him on the bass tip but its the highs that he got me beat at...So how can i increase my highs without adding another ampilifer???

you need to add a four channel amp for the mids and highs. the only way to get clean clear output is with clean clear power.

also, have you sound deadened the car?
    Who knows?

i agree. you need to have a amp on the mids/highs as well. so you can clean up the output to them. then you should have no problem.

if you want more highs. you can wire more cheap tweets to still keep the same ohm load. with tweeters you might be ok with like 4 watts rms lol.

    BUT.....

if you TRULY want clean highs i have the perfect thing for ya...

    a Crescendo xst2 tweeter.

one of these things are INSANE....
