depending on the brand, there will be a different procedure to bypass the safety feature so you can watch video while driving.

If you get one with no brainbox it is exactly like any other head unit. If it does have a brianbox it is simply a matter of running a shitton of wiring cleanly which is not all that easy.

yeah its exactly the same.. let me know if you have any questions on indashes. DO NOT GET A SHITTY ONE! you'll just be throwing your money away. stay away from jensen, Dual, or some off brand like that. An awsome one to get is the new kenwood. it has the option for nav or not, but all in all its a great indash with an awsome interface. and it'll last ya a good long while. enjoy...

most new indashs(minus cheap shit) got rid of the whole brainbox ordeal. technology once again made an advancement so it is normally built inside the little tv. but all in all its the same as hooking up a normal radio, as for the "parking brake" wire that enables you to watch video by pulling the ebrake or whatever you gotta do, we mostly ground the wire and it works fine. most tvs you can search for some kind of secret code to put in on your remote to be able to watch videos going down the road. had to do that with my jensen, same with the pioneer.
