WTF IS UP?

today i had to get a new head unit for my civic. my old radio was on it way out. but i bought the new head unit and hook it up. but i'm not getting any sound. what the hell can it be? i will give reps for help

bad speaker or grounded out speaker shutting down the internal amp

yeah grounded down, and i checked all of the speakers and hooked all of them up.

What you mean you checked all the speakers? Tested each one behind the head unit to make sure none were grounding out? Also test the ohm load on each speaker to make sure each was correct?

i kno this is obvious but check the fuse! my ladies car is doing this as well!

fuses would have nothing to do with lack of sound...speakers and speaker wires are not fused circuits...already been stated it has power just no sound

Hook up a test speaker directly to the radio harness and see if you get sound. it might just be a bad radio out of the box
