you need some better glue, some color match paint, some fans a little plexi work some neon lights and you would be rockin

    Its a Passat

I already said im going to be fixing the vinyl

The car is black and most of the equipment is black as well so with a color matched enclosure I felt it would get lost. I already have two tone leather (black with grey inserts) so I carried that theme over to the system install.

Plexiglass isnt worth it IMO, I would NEED fans to keep the amps cool and fans are ugly (well most of them) and hard to install cleanly, plus I think it looks good like this.

I do have a neon behind each cover for the amps, but 1 of them is messed up so when I get the new one they will be wired up.

First off I already said I need to work with the vinyl TWICE in the thread

Secondly, I was planning on going with a larger speaker amp which is why what was cut to the size it was. Instead I went with the smaller 4ch so a little bit is seen. Im still working on how im going to better hide that opening.

So basically 1 large cut and the fact that I need some glue makes my install shitty?

yep, in all honesty fit and finish make an install. You can blatently tell as soon as you look at it its not done right. You shoudl have carried the vynal all the way under the box and stapled it instead of relying on glue. But like i said its a good idea, just not executed well.

    Now for the pictures:

Here is an overvall shot of the whole trunk:

Here is a more straight on shot of the subs:

    Sub Amp (1500-XXK):

    Speaker Amp (4050-XXK):

    K2P Mid in the front door (2.8'' Fit w/ a 1.5'' Spacer  )

TN52 Tweeter in the Stock Sail:

I didnt take any pics of the back speakers since they are black and boring and didnt show up in the pictures.

I still have to work with the vinyl since some of it is coming unglued. I also need to clean up some of the wires, but it is pretty much done.

    So what does everyone think?

you guys are fucked up. Thats a damn good do it yourself install.

Just take the vinyl off and take your time. and the ports look fine. Put some led's or neons inside the box to make them glow.

I want to see if any of the other guys who are talking shit can do a better job.

Yea...most of the people that made negative comments CAN build better then that looked. Like Klaud said I didnt build it, it didnt turn out nearly as good as I expected. Ill admit it now, originally I had a hard time with people talking shit about my stuff, but in reality, they were right. Designw as good, fit and finish was sub par to say the least...However a new setup (same equipment, different design) is coming within the next month or two. This one WILL look good.
