depends on car type of music listened to and power. their is no such thing as too big of a cap, a cap just stores power, not usfull unless you have tons of power in your car. in a sense linex will do the same thing but its heavier and not as effective, prolly cost more as well.

I highly doubt your getting anywhere close to 4k watts... just because it says 1000 watts or 4000 watts on the amp does not mean your getting it all.. alot factors into a amp's performance when using it... subs impedance... heat.... ohms... voltage.... grounds.. lol... unless its a TRUE 4000 watt amp then your not gonna ever see 4000 whats.. your probably getting 1/3 of that .. if that

its advertised at 1600wrms at 1 ohm.

Most likely its rated at 14.4v with a 100hz tone also. Expect to get about 1k max out of the amp with music and I wouldnt be suprised to see that drop to about 800.

your subs cant handle 2600 watts, they are advertised as 1k watts rms. In reality I wouldnt give them more than 800wrms so the amps you mentioned would work for them if the subs are dual 2 ohm. If they are dual 4 ohm then the amps wont be enough power.

in order to have that much power in your car and for it to run efficiently you have to upgrade your electrical system, meaning good power wire not the cheap stuff, a bigger alternator, a more than one battery. its a money pit unless you are going to compete and win money. which in that case i would tell you to sell the accord buy an astro van and wall it off with as many fifteens as you can fit. use what you have if it works, if it blows then go and buy some new nice stuff.

Get the biggest cap you can afford, I'm sure whatever company you buy from will appreciate it. You can put makeup on a pig, but after that it's still a pig. Meaning: Why not spend the money on getting the charging system up to par? You can slap a 5000 farad cap on the car and it's not gonna fix a charging system that isn't up to par, where do you think the power comes from that the cap stores?

caps are over rated.. just a cover up for more problems to come ..... do the big three.. red topS... and the right wire.. alternator..a nd you dont need a cap...
