    Default speaker problem

Alright so i replaced my rears, and my rear left wasnt working. the speaker workd it self, but wouldnt work when hooked up to the rear left wires. So i decided just to, run a wire from the cd player to the rear speaker until i figure out whats wrong.

So i do this...and now the right rear has no sound? i thoughti mixed up the sides maybe, but no..my right and left are correct...

    what now?

sounds like you blew you rear outputs on the deck, may either have to run an external amp, repair the headunit, or buy a new one if so. hook an ohm meter up to the outputs from the deck and see if you get anything

try a different harness, could be a short in the wires. or like tluve69 said, deck could be bad. another thing to check would be make sure there are no bare wires. if the positive touches negative, you wont get any sound.
