subs in a del sol

anyone ever seen it done?... i want to put them inside the cab, not in the trunk because its completely sealed off. if so do you have some pictures or info on what size sub to use and where to put it. thanks

there was a yellow sol in a mag with 4 MOMO 12's fiber glassed in the trunk and a few MOMO amps mounted behind the seats. SESSI as HAIL

If you live anywhere near winder, my dad owns a stereo shop-east coast automotive. he can build custom boxes. 770 867 8605.
hes done 2 12's in a sol once.

there's room to do the two 12's. but the thing is, that it sounds better with more room. so you might want to rethink doing two 10's. then there is the horrible trunk rattling. not even the good one. because my friend has a convertible 300z and all that you here from the outside is the trunk rattling. so you might have to make sure the trunk is secure and your liscense plate is secure.

It's more than possible to do two 12s, but let's think about this for a moment, shall we... you are in maaaaaybe 60 cubic feet of space... maybe... 4 feet back x 5 feet wide x 3 feet tall... wtf do you need all that bass for?

The only way you can have a sub in the back will require you to either cut up your plasitc or remove it entirely. Plus it adds wieght

thats too much though. i wish i could take the personal trunk out and cut it up inside and put a bazooka tube down and then put it back over like a cover and lock the doors then no one would know i have subs. is that possible?

every sol ive heard with subs in the trunk sound perfectly fine. not as tonal, but definatly sounds fine.

i have 1 kicker 15 in my trunk and a 2000 watt amp on it ... sounds hella good from inside ... outside sounds like crap ... but i rarely turn it up loud enough for it to rattle .

Keep an eye on ebay and other del sol forums. Stealthboxes come up rarely, and never last more than a week. I sold my stealthbox in three days, and continued to get emails about it for another week. If you can wait, just search everywhere for a while and you will find one.
