    Default double batteries..

not sure if this si a good place to post or not..

to hook up 2 batteries for more power, can i just run an extra power/ground line between the 2 batteries?

i need to put an extra one in the boat for the ststem, i was jsut wondering if that was the way to do it or not...

and if i want to disconnect one to save it to start the boat can i jsut dissconnect the positive side?

if anyone knows let me know, thanks!!!

That should work but I would remove both cables to be sure. Do boats have alternators?

put circuit breakers on the power wires going to the batteries and just flip them of when not in use
