How do those sound? I keep seeing more and more of those subs but have yet to hear one.

They sound awesome. They are not as loud as the 13W7 but sound just as deep and are far punchier. They are needing more "breaking in" than any other sub I have had. (I have had a few...) I am VERY impressed with them. ESPECIALLY for the money.

I am really surprised at the comparison to a 13W7. Is that what you previously had? Also what model. I have certainly have my share of subs as well.

The only part of my system that changed is the JL 13W7 was 86ed for 2 Image Dynamics IDQ 10's. They sound a lot better but the JL will be better for people that like obnoxiously annoying people. The Image dynamics that I got will not get as loud... but they are ridiculously small in comparison. They are for "sq".

Subs that I have had in the past.... MTX 6000, MTX 8000, Alpine R, Orion H2, MTX 9500, Memphis Mojo, Beyma Adire, JL 13W7 and now these.

Ah gotcha. Interesting change, but a 13W7 is borderline excessive IMO so you probably made a good decision

I have had (in two and a half years) Infinity Refrence, Polk DB Series, MB Quart PWE304, Rockford Fosgate T1, JL Audio 10W6V2, JL Audio 12W6V2
