Default Question about Auxiliary input on OEM CD Player

I've looked around for the answer but maybe someone knows or can call a buddy that works at a stereo shop and get the answer. I have a friend who has a 2004 Chevrolet 1500 and wants to hook up an iPod to it. I need to know what type of inputs there are for his AUX/CD Changer input? Does that make sense? Like is it normal RCA inputs or what? I don't want to take out the radio until I know the answer and I'm sure someone will be kind enough to answer.
