    Exclamation problem with my system

So I was driving down 985 with some music playing pretty loud and all of a sudden it just lost all it's power and got really quiet. Then it came back on like normal again. So now it's going back and forth between hardly any sound, from my back speakers that run off the amp, to normal sound. It could be a loose wire or something but could this be my amp gone bad?
I have a kicker amp and a 2 full range kicker boxes with 8" speakers.
Let me know if you have any advice...

It may be a blown voice coil if you are talking about subs. Because if it is blown the voice coil will sometimes realigns itself so you get normal sound for a few minutes but then fades out. You can test this when you see them stop hitting, push the cone down evenly and it should comress the voice coil.

Before trying this check the amp to make sure it is getting power.

Overheating. Im guessing that most likely you have your amp mounted directely to a carpeted surface or somewhere air cannot circulate underneath it. Just get a smal 2x4 and cut off 4 2 inch sections and mount your amp on these. They leave enough space so heat can come out from under your amp.

My amp did the same thing and this help a shit load. Most amps have a heat sensor and when it gets too hot it will shut off so that it dosent damage anything. Then it will cool itself down and then power back up.

Well for the people that like more than speed when they get in a car they are quite nice. Dosent have to be the loud ear cracking ones but i mean it definately gives music a little more than just a stock system. You hear parts of songs that you couldnt hear before.

its most likely your wiring. some wires mess up when they are to close to others idk why or how but it happened to me to and i just re wried the whole thing and it stopped so just go back and double check everything and it wouldnt be your amp cause it would come on at all cause if it was your amp your fuse would of blowin most likly but its pro just wires.

Overheating.... happened to me i just done push it as hard any more... turn the highs and lows down a little bit and take the SUPER BASS BOOST off lol... tune it down to about 5 or 6 db so that you down run the amp to its grave... then when you want to show off turn that shit up...

if u have a 2 channel amp it will cut out if you are trying to run highs and mids off it you need a 4 channel amp to run your highs and mids the best way to do it is run dual amps
