Anybody know what would be my best option and where I could find it?
I need to keep track of what comes in, what goes out and what is lost.

I concur.......SAP is also an option if you plan to growOriginally Posted by hemi
I need something that works best with moving inventory. by that I mean products that move weekly or biweekly at the most. I was considering excell spreadsheet but it seems a little complicated for my applicaton. it is also large quantities, not small. would that influence the decision any way from those two programs mentioned?
quickbooks has worked well

I was going to suggest Quickbooks as well, they have a program specific for Inventory Management
we still use Excel, but Quickbooks is probably our next step.
Well can you input all you products, big or small, into quickbooks?
i know of a few fucker...give me a call in a bit....i got a new number too

But if you have small inventory... honestly.. excel is the way..
there are a ton of different solutions...what price range are you wanting to spend? and what is the product worth to you? those are two big questions you need to answer first before considering a POS style system. hit me up i can help you out if need be.
definitely don't need SAP for your application, not to mention it'd cost u a pretty nickel too...
My wifes started to use quickbooks for her inventory...but it was WAY too complicated. Every item is different and changing. She is an interior designer, and we had to put in a different number for EVERY item.
If you have only a handful of items to inventory, then quickbooks might be worth looking into.
there are a ton of cheap pos systems out there that will run inventory and sales.... look on e-bay
if u have the time to learn Quickbooks retail version works awesome.. IF u learn it..if not it will be a disaster
I didn't realize it was going to be this hard to find a program that fits.
