Now here are my posts that I made about the video as I watched it. If you want to see everyone else's posts, you'll probably have to create a member account on the 240sxForums. But thus far, my posts are the only ones that analyze the video. Everyone else is pretty much "ooo ahhh holy shit" type stuff ...

Perhaps we'll hear something about it as history goes on, perhaps not. The fact of the matter is, we'll never know the truth and all we can ever do is simply speculate. Do I still trust the government? As long as I stay safe, sure. But ... my feelings are very mixed. I'd like to see what happens with this next presidential election and see what comes up and what will happen. Unfortunately, we got another 2 years to go ...

We'll probably never really know what happened or the reasons behind it. Perhaps the guys up top felt that the sacrifice was necessary to stave off some greater evil, but we never really will know. We can justify the sacrifice of thousands of lives because we don't know what was at stake, we really don't.

If the entire fate of the world and civilization as we knew it was at stake, would you be willing to let thousands of people die? When you can answer that question truthfully, then you can take it from there.

I'm in the middle on this one ...

I went to take a shit during my break from it (still haven't finished it) ...

What if the whole shit really was done by Al Qaeda, but they had help. What if that help came in the form of some rogue agency within the US (like in the movie Swordfish) or some agency from elsewhere in the world? The "FBI" that collected those tapes from the hotel might have been FBI, they might not have been. The President and everyone close to him might really not even know the entire truth themselves and they are being fooled as well. Just because you're the President doesn't mean you know everything and you're privy to every secret file or thing that goes on ... people can lie to you and mislead you, too. Being President does not make you a god or some all knowing being.

and then we don't even know if that video is all real and those statements were made by firemen or people that were paid off or what ...

Those images are so damn grainy and distorted that they could have been falsified and doctored to make it look real ... hell, some of the only stuff that is clear in the video is what they want you to pay attention to ...

The Pentagon thing does have me a little shook up, though. I can show it to my dad since I have a video done by the same guy about only the Pentagon. My dad is an aerospace engineer of over 20 years, so he knows his shit about planes and how they are constructed.

And the shit about Boeing not releasing the information on how their planes are built ... I can believe all of that. Now the coincidence of it after 9/11 happened when they stopped doing it, that's a little odd. However, when a lot of the US govt's planes are all from Boeing and then we just suddenly got attacked by some folks who had quite a bit of intelligence on how to make this all work ... wouldn't you want to start capping the bottles of information and keep it from happening again elsewhere???

You also have to wonder about how much titanium was contained in those engines ... I mean, if the engine was only partially titanium, then shit could have vaporized. What if the casing around the turbine itself was the only titanium on it? That would explain why the only debris left outside was small enough to carry.

But what did they say hit the Pentagon? A 757? And people think it's a 737 because it was much smaller? Is there any chance that it could have been confused with the computer data with the FFA or something? I don't know ...

Fact of the matter is, we'll never know the whole story.

Just thought of something else ... the WTC was attacked once when the bombs were used to try and bring the buildings down originally. Who is to say that it didn't happen again? The terrorists could have infiltrated the building and placed the bombs in the spots that were necessary. Then using the planes flying into the building as the part of the psychological warfare against the USA and the world.

The govt could have been so rattled by that knowledge that they did not tell anyone because it would shake concerns about security even more than it already had. I mean, fuck, the structural supports were bombed one time, so why can't it happen again???

EDIT: This whole operation was proven that Al Qaeda had this thing planned out for YEARS ahead of time ... so with all the planning and learning from past mistakes, who is to say that bombs were not planted by Al Qaeda?

all right ... I just finished it ... I have to say that the last little bit of information about the power outtages and then the story of Flight 93 was very interesting ...

But the test with the cell phones kind of throws me off. There are a lot of variables. First: What carrier was he using and was the area he in during the test well supported by that carrier? Second: How do cell phones transmit (seriously help me out here because I don't know)? I know when you're in a plane, it's easy to get radio signals that are typically too far away because you don't have the terrain and other EM interference that you would on the ground. So that cell phone "test" doesn't have me falling over believing it.

EDIT: Another little indescrepancy I have about the video ... the eyewitness accounts. Can those be proven that they were there? Also, what about all of those people describing missile this and missile that and what it looked like and how it wasn't this. Do those same people have the real knowledge to make those kind of judgements? I mean, I can walk out onto a Fiat car dealership and try and say what I think each car model is, but in the end, I don't fucking know shit because I don't know shit about Fiat. Or better yet, walk to a Nissan dealership in Japan and try and name every car there. I can say it LOOKS like this, but I really don't know for sure. All of those statements were being treated as hard fact and you can't do that.

I think a lot of the evidence the documentary presents is VERY interesting and worth investigating, but the documentary does not do a well enough job explaining all of it. Some of it is very well done, but not everything.

The Al Qaeda tape at the end was quite interesting, as well. But we all know intelligence about who someone is and whatnot can be wrong. Who knows if bin Laden is ambidextorous?

There really are too many questions about 9/11, but at the same time there are not enough answers either. Both sides of the fence don't have the answers or proof to back up anything, really. Just because it's the government does not mean they know everything.

Another thing I find interesting is the documentary provides images of the 9/11 Commission Report. HOWEVER ... the documentary doesn't seem to cite ANY information from that book. Why not? Do the facts presented in the book disprove the documentary's allegations? If you're going to make a documentary, you weigh in both sides and you do it without a bias, everyone knows that.
