So der sonst spricht? Ich habe ungefähr 6 Jahre von ihm durch Sekundärschule und 2 in Hochschule genommen. Alot von Volkswagon/Audi/Porsche hat Deutsch alle über ihrem Auto und die ich der sich wundert, wenn sie sogar gewusst haben, was es hat bedeutet. Wahrscheinlich nicht. Es könnte eine Tendenz wie die japanischen Charaktere sein, die jeder auch hat.

I took German in high school right out of the gate and I loved it but my junior year they discontinued it cause I guess Sonny Perdue didnt think a bunch of nazi jibber jabber was as important as lets say....SPANISH.

Well that was bullshit, I didnt want to learn Spanish at all, so the kids in my German class actually convinced a math teacher from Germany to teach us one period or otherwise we;d have to take Spanish from the beginning.

Yeah its a cool language. The first day of class freshman year our teacher got a call and was yelling like a motherfucker in German and scared the hell out of us.

"Herzlichen Gluckwunsch zum Gebortstag OMA!!!! JA JA JA JA!!!"

Oh god what does that mean? Shit, something bad had happened.

i took it in 5th grade first cuz i was in a magnet school. Then ai took it 3 years in high school because it wasnt offered as a 4th year class. Everyone use to say Brandon ist sehr frohlich! because have rocked the fro since high school.

ich spreche auch deutsch... mein vater ist deutsch und als ich ein kind war, spricht er mit mir nur deutsch. und jetzt gehe ich an die german school of atlanta und es macht kein spass. es ist sehr langweilig und ich habe keine zeit fur die hausaufgaben. 1439/2000 ich verstehe nicht was du uber deutsche autos sagen mochte.

im half german and i dont speak much. but once a year i hear that only with my name in there, and then once a year i have to say that to my Oma. cool deal man.

Lots of european people are bilingual just caust the counrties are so close together.

Also, because the students (in Germany specifically) take 2 (or more) foreign languages. Typical US high schools require 2 years of a language. I know German students that took english and italian for 5-6 years...starting in 7-8th grade...

I lived in Berlin, Germany for a total of 4 years (2 years, 2 times) The last 2 years were 10th and 11th grade. I left 3 months before the Berlin Wall came down (yeah, Im old), but my parents were still there.

German was a LOT easier when I was surrounded by it....lost a LOT over the years. A roommate in college and I ONLY spoke german with each other to keep up. Not so much anymore.

It's insane their education system anyway. Hours of homework everynight and they take way more classes than us.
