    I just went thru Bank of America and got a FHA loan. I can give you the guys info if you want

    I decided not to go with FHA since the IR is higher than the market IR at that time (Jan 09)

    Check with SunTrust and other lending company, often time, they will give you a better rate.

    you can also check out a program called the rural development program. its a little easier to get a loan/house but there are area restrictions. wife and i are considering jackson or barrow county and they qualify. can get info from the hud site. and remember too that hud homes require only $100 down!

    I thought they pretty much stop giving FHA loans right now? Or did they start again?
