Have you tried McDonalds (fast food)? They are usually hiring.
Also, try hitting up some valet companies whether it be for a hotel or a restaurant. They are typically really flexible with schedules and you make pretty good tips. Drive around downtown or Buckhead and stop at a few places and talk to the valets.
If you have too much pride to work at a fast food joint or park ppls cars... then you must not really need the money. Man up.
Good luck.![]()
I heard valets in ATL make good money... I work at tmobile selling phone and i make some decent money... you could try something like that too? if you apply at tmo let me know...
Just go apply EVERYWHERE.
Literally.

Hard to get in with T-Mobile without any experience. Try a fast food joint or a restaurant, serving isn't TOO bad, Valet is pretty good to do if you can drive and have a clean record. Just apply everywhere, eventually someone will hire you. Kind of sucks that you don't have any experience at all in work...but you can start somewhere
actually it is just hard to get on at tmo period cause there are not that many positions... but a lot of the people hired have no experience or at least no experience in the field... I would still try.. just sayin... if you can sell you can make some cash at any of the cell phone placesOriginally Posted by JDM onlyy
I know they wouldn't hire me for NOTHING! But its okay, I work at Delta now and we get discounts with T-Mobile...even though I'm not with them. LolOriginally Posted by VWGirl
As far as not having money to go to Gwinnett Tech, go apply, get accepted and apply for financial aid. I thought the same thing, but I am going to be getting the hope grant, they said almost everyone that applies for the hope grant gets it.
Just go in in a diploma level program, and after 45 hours with a B average, you can switch to a degree level program and receive hope scholarship. This is the path that I have to take, but I was not told this until after 2 quarters there. So for 2 quarters there I could have had my college paid for, but no I paid out of pocket for all of it. Out almost $1700 because they did not inform me of shit, but it doesnt surprise me.
i wish my school were that cheap... i pay $1100 a class!
Do you have any skills, talents, or interest?
1700 is dirt cheap. GSU is ~650 a class if you total in their BS fees n crap. I know GT and UGA are more, do you go to one of those?Originally Posted by VWGirl
Nope, I go to an online school in Iowa... but all of the schools I had looked at going to were around the same priceOriginally Posted by Atlblkz06
