So we all know gas prices are decreasing but will it go back to 10 cent increases with octane... like last year .....example: $3.50 , $3.60, $3.70 or is it gonna stay like it is....$3.60, $3.75 , $3.90..........![]()

I've been meaning to make a thread commenting on this sort of thing. I've been watching them go down and never thought I'd be happy to pay $3.75/gallon. What really sucks is that when the gas was at $/gallon here, it was only $3.45/gallon in South Carolina. But it sure is nice to see it coming down. Hopefully it can maintain the decrease or at least not rise back up for a while (or ever). Later, QD.

thats a good question. I need a car that runs on 87 damnit...
The reason GA doesnt have the cheapest gas anymore is because we are taxing on a percentage basis, not a flat tax like most other states. As the cost of a gallon of gas goes up, so does the tax component. GA is loving this high gas price deal and they are milking the hell out of it.

But falling oil prices also suggest that the recession the U.S. has so far avoided is well on its way, as consumers pull back from the spending spree that drove economic growth earlier this decade. A weakening economy will mean more layoffs, further pressuring already reduced spending.
its a good read. Well, I'm happy gas prices are down.

I moved down here from Calgary Alberta a few months ago and it was 130/l or about 5.20 a gallon for regular there..
YAH I'm very happy to be paying 3.75 for premium in SC..
But seriously, as the US dollar gets it's value back, you'll see oil drop below 100 again and hopefully under 3.00/gallon regular at least.
Everyone knew 160/bbl of oil wouldn't hold as it was simply speculation.. ie. the .COM era in the early mid 90's.
where at? I paid 3.65 in rome yesterday lol cheapest I saw around turner mccall where I live off nowOriginally Posted by SPOOLIN
