A Minnesota man has been ticketed four times in one week for displaying a 13-inch by 40-inch “Ron Paul Revolution” sticker in his rear window – totaling up to $550 in fines.
The problem isn’t with his party affiliation or unrequited love of Ron Paul; it’s with the law that prohibits decals from blocking a driver’s view. The driver, Cody Hauer, has kidded himself into believing that the police are anti-GOP.
“I support Ron Paul, the city police department doesn’t,” he told the Associated Press. “They gave me a DWR — driving while Republican.”
Hauer is fighting the tickets on the grounds that the law violates his First Amendment right to free speech. He said, “To be honest, I’m probably not going to win, but I’m going to go down fighting.”
The guy got balls, I seen alot of people do crazy thing to get ron paul in office, but this is funny!!![]()
