And i was right, that Motor looks like a junk engine. Inside the valve cover looks ok, but the outside of the motor looks like its been dragged through used oil.

If this is CLEAN to you:

That motor isnt even in the same league as NAD or Hmotors. James may not want to admit it, but the B20s we got from Nad when i worked there were in 1000 times better shape.

As long as it runs, I am not entering a car show or nothing, I only need the motor for a running ride for 2-3 months tops, for the summer is gonig to be "K" all day. But as long as it runs I am not into cosmetics that much

The b20 in Roberts car you could eat off the inside of the valve cover.

That motor you posted pics of has more than 100k miles on it, it is NOT a 25-35K BEST QUALITY ENGINE like Tiger Jap claims it is.

The inside is golden which means it has lots of miles and/or went long intervals between oil changes.

The OP said that NAD AUTO was rediculous in price. That his $500 motor was better or the same.

You just proved he is wrong.

The OP is cheap, and bought a motor that was less expensive not caring about the quality.

I personally dont want customers like that, let along a person that goes into business with the motto:
"As long as it runs, I am not entering a car show or nothing, I only need the motor for a running ride for 2-3 months tops"

you have alot to learn Tippatone

You got alot to learn also, first off, i know the motors that hmotors or nad might be better, but i had dealt with these folks when i lived in NY and i had a good experience with them, second, i need my integra running right now, i got a jeep and i dont like to drive that gas guzzler because it will break my pockets down, and why would i pay top $$$$ for a engine i plan to swap out in three months? I just need my car to move form work to home, no meets, car shows, nothing of that nature, just a to b right now, now when i get my RSX-s swap, i have a membership to a rebuildable site and if i cant find one there i surely will go to hmotors

PS I am not cheap I am smart, I saved $400 that can go towards my k-series swap, that been my plan all the time, get a resonable price motor, and then go all out with the K, and if this is the reason you dont want me as a customer then fine, I dont have to spend my money with you, when James or Roger get to see me and my $$$$ they will let you know that I spend $$$ on my ride, they will see me fri/sat

I didnt post the pix to start an argument about opinions, i just did it to compare quality of motors for prices. NOW with that being said, you could have gone with a motor from nad, and not have had to bought new seals/or paid for install. So all in all you will probably be around the same price as an engine you could have gotten from nad. And The inside of the VC, Mike, From the outside you could expect much worse, that motor has probably got a good bit of miles. It definately is not as bad as there 2jz insides (you know what im talking about).

Cliffs, im not trying to prove anyone wrong, just showing quality, and you do get what you pay for.

well now you are changing your argument.

    now its:
I need my car running ASAP and i cant afford a better engine.

    Before it was:
NAD AUTO rips people off, i got a $500 motor thats perfect.

Pick and argument and stick to it.

Stop making assumption and looking like an ass, since you know it all, do you know what kind of money I am working with? Do you know my income? I don't think so, just because I did'nt want to do business with nad it seemed to have ticked you off or something, my first post had nothing to do with my motor, it had to do with Bay telling me i had to pat $800 plus shipping, which i thought was unresonable, thats just me if you want to pay that thats on you but I have more sources to locate the stuff i need, If I was planning on building a B20/VTEC, yes i would have went to another source, but since it was a temp problem, all i needed was a temp solution, did i ever say the engine was perfect? NO, all i was saying is that it will be a running one, remember you said the head gasket most likely will be trashed, that doesn't seem to be the case

When swapping in motors, I dont care where i buy it from I buy a head gasket kit and change the VC gasket, cam seals and all the rest, so a few seals needing to be replaced is nothing, and the outside appearance at this point means little to me, as long as the internals are good so am i

    For the last time:

Yeah it ticks me off, you trashed a business without even know why. That **** pisses me off, thats peoples livelihood you are messing with. You come on some website and openly trash a company because you THINK they are ripping you off.

You state you have no idea how the business works yet you are claiming how people are ripping you off.

YOu change your arguement because you cant win.

You then try to trash my business because im calling you out on your BS.

In the future, think before you post, dont trash a business that has done nothing wrong but quote you a price for a SUPERIOR product.

Take your BANKROLL somewhere that cares.

Dont try to act like a baller when you are bitchin about a $800 motor. I have $800 in my LSD, let alone anything else on the car.

I am not the one beating a dead horse, I left it alone when I purchased my B20, Mr. Kidd is the one saying he does not need a customer like me so he does not have to worry about me spending $$$ with him or asking him anything, I dont see what the problem is if I got my people who I shop with, I am comfortable dealing with them, I wont do business with people who try to get over on me, basically I thought Bay is charging me extra because he thought I didn't know any better and I can't stand for that.

so you are ok with Tiger Japenese lying to you about their 25K mile engine?

You would rather replace seals on a 100k mile motor to "save money" when you could have bought a 30K mile motor from Nad or Hmotors?

    retarded

i refuse to argue with you further, you are just a waste of time
