Yeah I go there, they have great facillities & a great staff. I'm in the autobody & collision repair course so I'd be right across the hall from your class. I have an older buddy thats currently in that class as well.
But they are very up-to-date on their tools, & knowledge.
yea I met their autobody teacher tonight, he seems cool, I was very impressed with the auto mechanics facilities though, all those motors torn apart and lifts made me excited lol. Ill be there next semester, I missed their cut-off and they were full anyway.
do they have certificate programs for auto body and/or refinishing? i want to take them
i went there a last year for auto tech. good school teachers and lots of hands on.
how long did the certificate take to get?
I dunno, probly a year
it's not a bad school, I'm there now
If you didn't know tech schools in Ga are basically free if:
you have no drug convictions
have been a resident of Ga for 12 months
are doing a certificate or diploma program, Degree programs aren't covered.
All 15 credit hours this quarter cost me $40.
thats with the HOPE Grant?
yea, if you do well(which is easy from what I hear) then after the first semester they reimburse you, then they pay for it after that

but you must be dumb if you cant get into Griffin tech though lol......just kidding, its good school......
The registrar woman looked at my score, then at me, then at my test scores again...and then straight up asked me why i was going to Griffin Tech lololol.
Not caring in high school ftl.
But its ok, cause Mercer has a direct program placement taking EVERY one of my credits. FREE CORE CLASSES FTW!!!!
