    EDIT: 18yr old kills five boys, two girls, and the principal in Finland. Then shoots himself in the head and dies later in the hospital.

    Story has been edited with new information since my post. He wasn't dead at the time.

    As for the age bit, the initial report said it was an 8th grade classroom in the event so I assumed it was his own class. The age of the shooter wasn't yet revealed.

    The weapon he used also wasn't available at the time. It was a .22-caliber pistol.

    I delivered false information from a misinformed news report. Sorry.

    If only that were the case... News agencies thrive on the fact that they get the story out first. It doesn't really matter if it is somewhat inaccurate, they have to be first.

    EDIT: They updated the story again. The shooter died in the hospital later.
