Hey guys I had a older build thread that honestly just got drug out for longer than I intended it to since im making a lot more progress now and im hoping to have engine in by end of june. Ive been slowly gathering parts and working towards dropping a h2b into "something" For a while now but with the combination of other priorities, bad luck, and just not enough time or help until recently a couple times I didn't think it was going to happen but I have to finish this. If you wanna see the old thread I had started its right here>>>My H22a build with pics
On to the details this will be my daily driver so nothing crazy or overly complicated. I decided to drop my h2b in my sedan because well it was there and also because you just don't see as many on the roads as opposed to eg's, ek's at least not in my area.
My plans is to meet around 250hp nothing crazy engine will be stock with a few light mods
build list will include
qsd h2b kit
arp head studs
arp main studs
Nippon type s pistons
manley H beams
kstuned balance shaft delete
kstuned manual tensioner
evolution single pulley
fidanza lightweight flywheel
exeedy stage 1 clutch
low profile pcv valve
not sure which headers yet
magnaflow exhaust
bronze valve guides
stock cams (for now)
stock crank
p28 ecu chipped with chrome
aem fuel rail, earls inline fuel filter
an plumbing for brake and fuel lines SS
innovative crossmember
innovative solid mounts
oem water pump, gaskets etc
Other things I am doing as well is a full engine bay shave/tuck including brake lines, fuel lines, battery/fuse box relocation, only thing I wanna see is engine when im done I will retain heat and wipers but no ac of course.
I also have to make my own brackets to convert my clutch over from cable to hydro and make a alternator mounting bracket to run a 88-91 alternator with 3 rib pulley for as much clearance as I can get. I will bang the frame rail if I just have to but that's a last resort. Supposed to have a friend come over next week to help sort out the wiring
later I think I will be adding a mild cam, skunk2 cam gears, 68mm throttle body, skunk2 intake manifold,
After the swap goes in my next goal will be paint and rims
Hope you guys enjoy
