There we go!!!... I been researching it for the last 2 days. And it just seem. If you have a good engine. And don't want to take to apart and build it. And it can handle the boost. Then turbo it.

But if u can goin to tear an engine apart and build it. U can get just as much power off a N/A build and better all-round performance.

Now I saying all of this thinking on our terms. Now if I was thinking 7 second drag car or something. Then something has to be added weather it is cubes or forced induction. But Im talking 10-13 secs cars

Now also. Then turbo and as Nitrous is both been IMO over rated and ricer term. Now adays if you have Nitrous or turbo and u are the shit. But when u look at the numbers. Mostly of the time it not all that great

I agree about that, a good driver in a nice built motor can do what someone can do with either unless they also have the driver mod

Naw, I think OldsTech was just asking a question to get this thread active, because everyone has their own views and opinions on any topic of discussion. Lol I think

But there is no doubt that you can achieve more power through FI.

Yeah thats all Im putting out there is different ppls views. Not that Im goin to go turbo. But what your thoughts on turboing a car. Is it REALLY superior over N/A.

And I like what Bowdown said, When Im making comments Im putting it as if It was me. I just can't justify a turbo system on my camaro. When I see Olds ppls running 10's easy. Becuz ppls run the same setup as me on a engine build. But they are running a higher stall converter and low rear end gears with slick. Stuff I wont do becuz I want to have an OD and drive this car at least twice a week

You can get more power out of turbo than NA on pump gas, you shouldnt have any reliability issues if it is tuned properly and given its a ball bearing turbo, especially if its carbed.

    78 camaro build 30% motor-4ci
