e34 leaking coolant

i have a 1994 bmw 530i that has leaked coolant from the heater core for some time now, but recently it spews coolant out from under the passenger front tire. the hose is there to leak out overflow/ overfilling it with coolant but mine leaks out the entire reservoir. i just bought a new cap to put on hoping that will fix it? any other thoughts? thank you
