I think that, they only came in autos, and would take alot of work to make decent. May as well swap a turbo h6 into an impreza.

Really heavy, ugly, and not much performance to get from it. There isn't much of an aftermarket for it either.

Idk, its just my opinion. I think its ugly because it everything seems mismatched, out-of-place, and just generally does not flow.

I think they're gorgeous. Those windows are so that you can ride with the windows down but keep the rain out wind out of the cabin. The 5spd swap isnt too hard. http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=23600

The H6 thats in there isnt a bad engine, I think they're rated at 230hp. Those cars arent very fast in a straightline but they're highway cars, really aerodynamic and a lot of topend pull.

Kinda shows that Subaru has always been about wacky japanese styling. Look at the old RXs and GLs too, they all have strange quirks, doesnt look like anything else on the road. The white/black roof SVX is my favorite.

Interior of the SVX looks like a cockpit of a jet.

A lot of old Japanese cars had cockpits like that...driver separated from passenger. I like that style...though it's more expensive to do RHD models.

    Supra for example...

Reminds me of a Ford Probe with some weird glasswork. I dunno man. They're unique, that's for sure but they're just so...odd. To me, they look like a lot of parts just thrown together and they don't really flow. My buddy has a white one and it's okay. It's fun to drive if you 5-Speed swap it. A car ahead of its time I guess.

Exactly. It is definitely an interesting, odd car. Its not going to be the fastest car on the road, but most people wouldn't buy it for that. It has a decent engine, but its just sooo heavy and is only offered in the automatic. But you can get one with decent miles for under $10k so its not a grossly overpriced car like supras of that time.
