    Default what is this??


    i was changing the valve cover gasket on my g/f's del sol and i broke this tube i want to know what it does. it connects to the airbox joint. but it doesnt do anything except ooze a little black shit every now and then. any help would be great thanks. she has a air intake anyways so she doesnt need it. what should i do about this. can i close it off. should i put a mini intake on it? let me know. thanks. this is not my g/fs engine bay

    or buy my intake and connect the hose to each end

    doesn't that just send the oil vaport through to the intake to somewhat lubricate it? u could probably drive with that like that for a while, but i would replace it whenever i could.

    would a mini filter work for this??

    I think the purpose of it is to keep the head cool by allowing some of the air that flies through the intake to go into the top of the head. I would rather fix that than put a mini filter.

    well you would still get the air from the engine bay even if it wasnt ran to the intake?? wouldnt you. so a mini filter would work. i am just wondering i dont know much about the subject.

    put a mini breather on it. all will be fine.
