    Default Reliability?

Interesting discussion about VW vs. BMW reliability. I've never owned a VW, but I've worked on them, and omfg are they a bitch to do almost anything to, even the smiplest things they make complicated, IMO. Whereas, I've never had much of a problem tearing into 'most' things in a BMW. Not to say BMW's never made stuff thats hard or near impossible to do either..... Discuss.

BMW's will last forever but you are going to have to do repair after repair to keep it going is what I hear. I have never had a problem with my car(VW GTI 1.8T.)

My only question is why you didn't buy one sooner?
