2001 accord coupe

what should i do to it, i'm not going to do anything to the engine, seeing as how i don't get the title til i graduate this year.

what i was thinking was new headlights, tailights (hopefully non-altezza wannabe's) and some wheels. are there any body kits that don't make it look too ricey. it's just DD and i'd like it to look nice.

but then again, is there a few things i should do to the engine to have it run better? i do the typical pulling with my friend's cars and whatnot, but i'm not HUGE on the racing thing.

and...how much will it cost thanks in advance for the help. i've never really thought about what i'd do to the car til just recently.

that car has the best front bumper for the accord coupes....at most i'd put the factory lip on it....and tails get the tyc elegante's and paint the trim on them....wheels just do some nice 17's if you don't plan on dropping it

sounds good to me. it's auto, and it has like some scratches on the front bumper and back cuz it's my first. also, inline 4 not v6. i was thinking the same tailights, but my car's a greyish silverish colors, so i was going to get chrome head/tails. new wheels and everything should be around 5g's?

That's cool, get whatever you like, but personally I don't like chrome, I would go for he blacked out look.

i am not a chrome person either....blacked out on grey is hot...my old truck was dark grey with blacked out everything

I think it would looks good, I think chrome would look weird. I just don't like chrome unless it's on a car like a BMW, Jaguar, Merc., etc.

hmmm...maybe. at first i did want black, but my friends didnt think i could pull it off due to the grey color of the car. however i did see a white accord with blacked out lights, but he could pull it off because of the black rims and hood.

paint the headlights, you can do a bunch of diff things with them, i painted mine black housing then decided to yellow the insides...

dont waste your money on rice-tastic euro headlights or tail lights... If you are going to spend money on the car, do something that will better the car. most aftermarket headlights are not as bright and are cheaply made. aftermarket tail lights for the coupe model look stupid too... The factory tails are clean looking. Get a set of coilovers and some wheels. since it is auto, dont waste your money modding the engine, since the auto tranny is not made to handle much extra power reliably. I would say just do wheels and suspension, and maybe a OEM lip kit. I have a 2002 V6 with the OEM kit and it is really clean looking.

i am with him ^^^^drop it on some 17's with an oem lip kit and you are set....and i wanna see this color of yours....grey silver confuses me....

if it's a daily driver dont worry about it...the lip kit will cover the scrapes on the bottom so that won't matter...if you can't find a good set of oem lips cheap check out the mugen stuff

thats the same color. on carfax it says that GA changed the color from silver to GREY different people see different things i guess. so where can i get a new OEM lip

the OEM kit from honda is pretty high... like anything OEM from honda. I would just get yours repainted.

meh, i don't think i'd need a new one. the only things that are scraped are the bottom parts of lip and some in the back. aside from that there's no huge crack or anything. i could prolly get it painted. HOWEVER, i noticed 2 weeks after buying the car, that on the right side, 2 latches that hold the bumper are broken, so it extrudes a little. should i worry about it and take it to some shop to have them fix it, or do what my friend suggested, and just hotglue the latches back on and pop it in.

hot glue won't hold after you hit the interstate for 5 miles....and do you have a factory lip on a 4cyl or do you mean the lip of the front bumper?

funeral procession.....ford explorer behind me hit me going about 40 when we all stopped to turn into the cemetary he didn't and he pushed me forward into the Chevy SSR in front of me....gave us $7800 for it and it was a 98 with 120k miles....

Im a little late in this topic but..... Mugen lip with OEM skirt and rear.... Black out taillights(with film) black out headlights(retrofit) tint windows and some black rims preferbly Grams light or volks..
