    Default my indash cd player

    i was riding down on sat night....and all the sudden it started making funny noise, so i turn down the volume and it stopped...when i looked at the cd player it was smoke comin out of it...i took the head off and i dont know if the cd player works or not but i didnt wanna make it worse so i took it out....it stinks like burned plastic or rubber idk....wat do u think happend?

    Wires were not properly insulated, had a short, someone spilt something on it, or it ws just time for it to die.

    you have wires crossing each other...i had the same problem...check your wires to see if they are properlly wired correctly
