it you spend money on some cams atleast get some type r cams or something like that gsr cams are a waste imo it's not worth the time or effort of putting them in.
Well first of all it doesn't that much time to swap cams, a guy swapped my JDM B16 cams for GSR in about an hour. They go for about $80 compared to Type-R cams that I see going for like $300. I dyno'd before & after I got the GSR cams & I made 4 whp & VTEC hit alot harder. So yes I think it's worth it.
tryig to find out all i can like i said if get them it will be on a good deal i will swap the myself so no labor but my own i just wanna make sure there will be adiff.. from what i have now "my stock b16 cams"
Stock jdm B16 cams are the worst, the 2nd gen are better but the GSR is best for money in my opinion.
they are all right. I got them in my b16 and didnt notice a whole lot.

if you want it to lope just unplug the map sensor lol.
If you have first Gen B16 cams (88-91) then its a good upgrade cause GSR cams can be had for $60-80.
If you have a newer B16, then no, i would switch to ITR cams, more gain for the money

yea unplugging the map works real well for making the car lope forgot to plug mine up when i done my swap and it sounded like a pro mod car idling forgot to mention that i do have an obd0 b16a will type R cams work and also what are the marking to look for on the GSR cams to know they r legit
what kinda marks are on the gsr cams i should look for and where would they be

just upgrade to ITR cams or CTRs, more bang for the buck, gsr cams are a waist, thats the first thing I do when I buy a gsr, swap the damn cams out, I really don't see the big diff between gsr's and b16s.
what are some marks i should look for to tell the diff in the gsr and b16 cams
