Used to be Mazcare (Marrietta) that was THE rotory specialist, but last i herd there Great mechanic "think his name was bryan" left, other place i would take it is Balance Performance.

My roomate got his FD to 77k before the apex seal went out on it, though probably his fault cause his 2nd turbo had died on him and he was still driving on it :shrugs:
It's nice though having one in your garage

MazCare is a great shop, and does quality work.

Your friend's second turbo probably was ok, but the TCA was probably bad. Very common problem. Happened on mine as well. You can drive on it, but it's better to lock it open if you are going to. I'm guessing that he didn't know to do that.
