Default Acura's and Honda's getting stolen.

I hear of this every day and it just makes me wonder if I should even drop any more money into my car. Seriously though, these things we call security systems don't work? What will work besides LowJack? I mean come on, there has to be a good security system that is bulletproof.

I guess the only real safe way of doing it is......

i keep a snake in my car and midgets in tha trunk, if it goes off, the midgets run up to me and warn me, one stays back to distract the thief

so does viper with their $10k back up guarentee that your shit don't get jacked but my boi just got his shit jacked and not one dime came yet. Seriously, all in all, just from knowledge, alarms are a waste of time, you think its going to make you feel better or safer but the real truth is it aint. Clubs for steering wheels or clutch isn't much better either. Trust me, if someone wants your car they're gonna get it one way or the other. I have not only low jack, but a quick release steering wheel too and I still don't feel safe.

Here's the best security precautions there is:
    1) have some good ass hearing, a pistol (9mm and up preferebly)
    2) a garage

I don't think anything is really "bullet proof"... If they want it, they gon take it. If I buy another car worth over 5 grand I'm definatly investing in GPS or sometype of lowjack. I'll take ruiners advice wisely and learn from my mistake.

Yea, I've seen more people with honda's and acura's using the club though. Pretty tacky if you ask me, but hey, if it gets the job done then it gets it done.

Fairly inexpensive... About as much as you'd pay for a top of the line alarm system. Worth the investment in my opinion....... 600 plus 7-xx per month. http://www.virtualtrac.com/sub_main....lection=whatdt

There's this new thing called powerlock that's not available here yet. or in atlanta that is.

its pretty good. Most of my friends in Puerto Rico and Florida got it on their rides. Impossible to hotwire and pretty good. check it out at www.powerlock.com

Trying to find a trusted mechanic in town who can install it right now.
Any dealer who starts installing this suff would make a ton of cash. heads up on it.
