There are a few. Top notch is VW R32. It is such a beautiful sound. Of course, you have the G35/Z/FX sound. That is killer. CTS-v or rather any LS engine is sex. Also, any V8 Mustang, but especially the last generation Cobra.

G35s have the exotic sounding exhaust which is pretty hot. Porsche flat 6s sound incredible also.

Im not really a fan of the Carrera GT Exhaust sound but I do like the 360 with Borla pipes. Most domestic v8s sound mean too. I also like the sound of an import with a loud BOV.

Volkswagen R32 is the best sounding V6 IMO 2nd is the Nissan VQ35DE
E36 M3s can sound very nice. Muscle cars and Ferrari/Lambo/etc. are a given.
I personally think the WRX sounds like a big ATV or something but it doesn't really matter what it sounds like when it makes power IMO (eg: RX7's).

I'm surprised anyone said 4G63.. IMO it's not a good sounding exhaust. Same for the S54 in the M3. The S2000 sounds good once you get rid of the stock airbox. V8 american cars all sound pretty good though the "2 chamber flowmaster offroad H-pipe" Mustang sound is more played out than SNES. The 90s are over, it's time to move on. The C6 Z06 sounds absolutely crazy wide open, so does the Ford GT. The new M5 sounds awesome with an exhaust.
I think the Ferrari F355 is still the best sounding car overall, though.
I like the sound of the new Z06 personally.. I love the butterfly valve's! They are amazing.. oh and i don't really like the sound of old Carb engines.. They sound like tin cans.. LOL! don't get me wrong.. i have a shit ton of respect for those old rides.. but i just prefer fuel injection! Except my buddies datson 280z 572 blown and spraying! Its a beast! Its sooooo loud! I can't even hear my civic when im revving at 4k and hes idling... LOL!! So yeah the Z06!
Im gonna say my jollies get off the most when I hear a late 80s thru early 90s mustang with flowmasters, any Italian car gets me going too though.
i really love the sound of my car! i think its cause it really does'nt sound like a 4 cyl at all, on the downshifts the burbles and crackles are amazing.
