    Default v band clamp

building my turbo setup on my integra ls, and just wanting to know the difference in using v band clamp, or just 4 bolt downpipe. I have not purchased the exhaust yet, and came across this clamp and would like to know if its better or not or no big difference? thanks

Less of a hassle. I'm tired of bolt type flanges

You don't have to worry about bolts vibrating loose with the v-band either. They make a better seal, so no pesky exhaust leaks. And it is easier to work with like previously stated because with it loose, it acts like a slip joint and you can rotate it to the desired position. So all of these things make up the personal preference. Last turbo setup I built, I tried to v-band eveything that had a joint. To reduce failure. Good luck on your journey!

i would never build a turbo car with bolt flanges on anything ever again

Dump tubes, downpipes, charge pipe connections, turbo outlet, hell next time i do a full over id prolly go with vband turbo exhaust inlet.
